The night
The prom we deserve.
1DE is bringing the entire state together for one spectacular night of music, crowns, community, and unapologetic queer joy.
Come dressed all the way up, dressed completely outside the lines, or dressed as the fullest version of yourself. Come solo. Bring a friend. Fill a table with chosen family. Show up with your organization, business, ERG, club, crew, or favorite group chat.
This is not prom built around finding a date. It is prom built around finding your people. No date needed, you are already invited.
Make your entrance
The First State Promenade
Every unforgettable night deserves an entrance.
Walk it. Roll it. Strut it. Make it dramatic. Take it over with your entire crew. The First State Promenade is your moment to show Delaware exactly how you arrived: united, expressive, and in full color.
Then strike a pose in the Pride Prom Photo Booth and stop by the Crown Station to create something worthy of the night.

Who makes LGBTQ+ Delaware brighter, stronger, more joyful, and more connected? Open community nominations will honor nine people who embody the heart of 1DE:

Every honoree gets crowned. Together, they become the 1DE Pride Prom Court. Members of the Court will carry that honor forward as some of the Parade Marshals for PR1DE FEST1VAL and the 30th celebration of Pride in Delaware.

Community Crown
Show up together.
Your crew has an assignment.
Bring your organization, business, club, ERG, riding group, coworkers, chosen family, or the friends who never need an excuse to dress up. Official Pride Prom Crews will compete for Community Crown honors throughout the night.
We are looking for the biggest crew, the strongest turnout, the best group look, the boldest Promenade entrance, and the people who bring enough spirit for the entire state.
Big organizations have numbers. Small crews have audacity. Bring what you have.
On the floor
One state. One dance floor.
When the music starts, no one waits to be asked. Dance with friends. Dance with chosen family. Dance with someone you just met. Dance entirely on your own because the song belongs to you.
No romantic partner required. No couple at the center. Just one room filled with people from across Delaware celebrating exactly who we are.
Silent auction
Bid on a moment, not a date.
The Pride Prom silent auction will bring together unforgettable experiences, local treasures, artwork, surprises, and packages worth getting competitive over.
Then comes Save Me a Dance. Beloved community figures will put one dance on the auction block. One song. One shared spotlight. One chance to find out whether your favorite community leader actually has moves.
You are bidding on the moment, never the person. Bragging rights are included.

Every ticket, sponsorship, winning bid, and gift helps 1DE connect LGBTQ+ people, organizations, businesses, and communities across Delaware. Together, we are fueling the INS1DE Guide, building the 1DE Queer Congress, and carrying Pride forward through PR1DE FEST1VAL.

Pride Prom will include accessible event information, accommodation requests, meaningful alcohol-free choices, sponsored community tickets, and space to step away from the dance floor when you need it.

Vendors & makers
Set up shop at Pride Prom.
Local LGBTQ+ and allied businesses, makers, and organizations are welcome to bring their goods to the dance floor. Applications run through a short Google Form.
